Burnout Retreat

Burnout Retreat: 14th-16th October

48-Hour Burnout Retreat: An Autumnal Reset

Step away from the rat-race and stress - Return to the rhythm of nature.
Our 48-Hour Burnout Retreat is a gentle invitation to pause and break free from life’s pressures — two nights cocooned in the wild comfort of countryside and trees, where time slows and nature shows us the link between consumption and resources. This will unlock a renewed sense of self awareness and achievement in understanding what really matters and must be prioritised in our lives.

For those feeling stretched thin, tired of screens and relentless work demands, or quietly running on empty - this is your space to reset. No schedules to keep, no noise to answer — just stillness, simple pleasures and tasks to support restoration and appreciation for connection to nature and self.

Itinerary

Day 1:
Arrive at our 10 acre site - meet your hosts and cosy accommodation

Settle in with a cup of coffee or tea, followed by a simple activity of gathering and preparing wood for a fire - this will lead into a mindful fireside welcome and time to share and listen to our shared experiences of burnout. Time to switch off your phone if you can and settle into the slower pace purposefully.

A wholesome supper will be provided.

Day 2:
Wake to birdsong and the sunrise over the ancient woodland to the East

After a nourishing breakfast, we will take a wander through the woodland, noting what we see and how we feel. Following this there will be some physical activities for you to learn some new practical skills or improve existing knowledge.

A home-cooked stew or soup with freshly baked bread will be served for lunch

The rest of the day will be yours — you can take a walk on The Ridgeway up to The White Horse or Wayland’s Smithy or retreat to your yurt/other space to enjoy a craft (feel bring to bring your own projects) or read a book you’ve been meaning to finish.

The evening meal will be a shared creation where the whole group will prepare and cook together over fire.

Day 3:
A quiet morning ritual of yoga/stretching, breath-work or private meditation

We will serve a hearty breakfast/brunch followed by a group talk and then a walk around the site together.

The retreat will gently conclude with collective reflection and time to complete any creative work.

🌳 Why 48 Hours?

Resetting from burnout doesn’t have a set timetable but experience has shown that one day/night often isn’t enough to fully restore and a whole week is often too much of a time commitment/constraint for many.

In our nature based setting we aim to support you in rediscovering what YOUR balance feels like.
