Experience Nordic Comfort and Eco-Friendly Luxury in Our Yurts

We are situated in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside within the North Wessex Downs National Landscape, close to quintessentially English villages of thatched cottages and less than 2 hours travel time from London, Birmingham and Bristol. Our site offers a special blend of off-grid and Nordic comforts, creating a unique, eco-conscious glamping experience. At our peaceful site at Botswicky you will arrive at a tranquil, picturesque location, surrounded by rolling hills, ancient woodland and a shallow chalk stream.

The Yurts

Our Yurts are lovingly hand-crafted and steam-bent made from either Norwegian oak or locally sourced Ash (find out more about how we sourced our wood here:)

• Spacious with “hygge” Furnishing: Yurts are round, organic structures that offer enough space to stand and move around in very comfortably. Inside you will find natural and tasteful decor with comfortable and snuggly furnishings, including hand-built beds (designed and crafted by Nordic Glamping), high-quality mattresses and bedding made from organic cotton or sustainably sourced linen. We also provide cosy throws and cushions for a hygge or koselig feel (it is Nordic after all!). Wherever possible, we offer carefully selected, up-cycled, second-hand furnishings and opt for sustainable, organic textiles and fabrics. Note - towels are only available on request to reduce our impact on the environment

• Comfort and Warmth: Wood-burning stoves provide warmth and create a cosy atmosphere during cooler spring evenings or autumnal mornings. Outside, you will find comfortable seating, tables, an all-important parasol for shade, plus a BBQ/grill set up. You will have access to kindling, wood-supplies (for your first night) and a well stocked and practically organised kitchen in the communal areas of the site. We also have some outdoor and indoor games for your enjoyment and plenty of quiet nooks for relaxation, rest and to re-charge in nature.

• Please note that if our wood supplies are running low we might need to add in a small charge for wood - each yurt will have a complementary wood basket inside for the first night’s stay
